Tianjin Medical University School of Clinical Medicine is one of the first independent colleges in China to be established with a new mechanism and model in 2004, as confirmed by the Ministry of Education (Document No. 22 of the Ministry of Education on Confirming Independent Colleges Established by Regular Colleges in Tianjin). Independent colleges are an important part of private higher education. Students who complete all courses specified in the teaching plan according to the professional training plan of the college and pass the exam will be awarded a full-time undergraduate diploma from Tianjin Medical University School of Clinical Medicine. In accordance with the relevant regulations of the State Council Academic Degree Committee, the Ministry of Education and the college, undergraduate graduates will be awarded a bachelor's degree from Tianjin Medical University School of Clinical Medicine and a degree certificate will be issued. There are nearly 15,000 graduates so far. Tianjin Medical University School of Clinical Medicine is located in the Dagang University Park of Binhai New Area, Tianjin. The college covers an area of 334 acres and a building area of 126,000 square meters. It has complete educational and teaching facilities and perfect living facilities such as a library, teaching building, laboratory building, student apartment, student restaurant, and 400-meter standard stadium.
