Tieling Health Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Liaoning Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. The college was formerly the Tieling Regional Health School founded in 1973. It was renamed Tieling Municipal Health School in 1984. In 2010, with the approval of the Liaoning Provincial People's Government, Tieling Municipal Health School was upgraded to Tieling Health Vocational College. Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Party Committee of the College strictly implements the main responsibility of party building, solidly promotes the normalization and institutionalization of the "two studies and one action" learning and education, effectively strengthens and improves ideological and political work, and gradually promotes the "double leaders" training project for teachers' party branch secretaries, providing a solid ideological, political and organizational guarantee for the development of various work of the college. The college is located in the Tieling Fanhe New City Education Park, which is known as the Northern Water City, and is backed by the Lotus Lake Wetland Park.
