Tonghua Medical and Health Vocational College is a full-time, public, three-year college-level general college organized by the Tonghua Municipal People's Government. It was approved by the Provincial People's Government in January 2021 and filed with the Ministry of Education of China. The college is built on the basis of the original campus of Tonghua Health School in accordance with the construction standards of higher vocational colleges with 3,000 students. Infrastructure: The college is planned to cover an area of 192,300 square meters and currently covers an area of 133,600 square meters. The planned building area is 115,000 square meters. The existing buildings include teaching buildings, laboratory buildings, student apartments A, B, C, gymnasiums, canteens and the original TV University teaching buildings, with a total area of 50,200 square meters. The original value of fixed assets is 27.377 million yuan, of which teaching instruments and equipment are 4.8829 million yuan. Discipline and professional settings: The college implements the "department system" management and has established six major departments of ideological and political humanities, basic medicine, nursing, medical technology, pharmacy and rehabilitation health care. The department is the middle-level management unit of the college's teaching and comprehensively carries out the college's education and teaching work. The college offers 12 majors, including nursing, medical laboratory technology, oral medicine technology, pharmacy, Chinese medicine, health management, rehabilitation therapy technology, medical biotechnology, veterinary medicine, infant care services and management, elderly care and management, and Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology, and recruits students from all over the country. Personnel situation: The college currently has 173 professional and technical personnel and 122 full-time teachers; 13 people with senior professional titles, 71 people with deputy senior professional titles; 1 person with a doctoral degree and 55 people with a master's degree. In 2021, the college enrolled a total of 398 students (including 74 more students in higher vocational colleges); in 2022, a total of 950 students were enrolled; in 2023, 1,000 students were enrolled. School-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education: The college currently cooperates with 25 hospitals (or enterprises) to establish 25 internship and training bases. (The cooperating hospitals or enterprises include Changchun Central Hospital, Changchun Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Tonghua Central Hospital, Tonghua Hospital, Songyuan Central Hospital Tonghua Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Tonghua Second People's Hospital, Meihekou Xinhua Hospital, Tonghua Wantong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Xiuzhen Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., Changchun Juli Denture Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Alex Medical Technology Co., Ltd.) At present, all 321 interns of the college's 2021 class have been connected to on-site internships through self-selection and designated arrangements of the college.
