Wenshan Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education in 2023. It is under the jurisdiction of the Wenshan Prefecture People's Government and its business is guided by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education. The college is located in the Vocational Education Park, Zhiyuan Road, Wenshan City, Wenshan Prefecture. The campus covers an area of 806 acres and the school building area is 142,600 square meters, including 108,200 square meters of teaching, experimental and administrative buildings. It has built a comprehensive building, teaching building, training building, graphic information center, cultural education training center, indoor gymnasium, outdoor stadium and other high-standard infrastructure. The college has a strong faculty and a staff of 180 teachers. Among them, 38% of full-time teachers have postgraduate degrees, 39% of teachers with associate senior professional titles, and 55% of "double-qualified" teachers. In 2023, the college plans to enroll 500 students in three-year colleges and 1,400 students in five-year colleges.
