Wuchang Vocational College was founded in 2002. It is a full-time higher vocational college and a directional sergeant training college approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. The school is located in the hinterland of Wuhan Optics Valley, on the banks of the beautiful Thomson Lake, covering an area of 2,548.2 acres.
