Wuhan Optics Valley Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. The school is a higher vocational college established in response to the Hubei Provincial People's Government's promotion of Internet+ and service to the Optics Valley high-tech industrial cluster. It is the only higher education institution named after Optics Valley in the country. The school is located in the hinterland of "China Optics Valley", on the shore of Tangxun Lake, the largest urban lake in the country, and on the shore of Canglong Island National Wetland Park.
