Xiamen Security Technology Vocational College was founded in 2004. It is a full-time general college approved by the People's Government of Fujian Province and registered by the Ministry of Education of China. The school is located in Wenjiao Park, Xiang'an District, Xiamen City. It is adjacent to the Xiang'an Campus of Xiamen University, the Xiang'an Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University, the newly built Xiang'an District Committee and District Government, and Xiang'an New City. It is only 5 kilometers away from the undersea tunnel-Xiang'an Tunnel and the Xiamen Xiang'an Dadeng International Airport under construction. It is close to the subway entrances of Xiamen Metro Lines 3 and 4. It is an ideal place for students to study. The campus covers an area of 580 acres and a construction area of 140,000 square meters. The basic facilities such as teaching buildings, training bases, libraries, sports fields, gymnasiums, administrative office buildings, student apartment buildings, staff apartment buildings, and canteens are complete. The school implements the principal responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors, governs the school according to law, and governs the school with experts. 14 functional departments have been established, including the Party and Government Office, the Academic Affairs Office, the Student Affairs Office, the Youth League Committee, and the Library. Among them, there is one backbone professional group, two provincial demonstration majors, two provincial innovation and entrepreneurship education reform pilot majors, one municipal key major, one municipal modern apprenticeship pilot major, and three provincial quality resource sharing courses. The school takes moral education as its foundation, service development as its purpose, and employment promotion as its orientation. It takes the connotative development path, vigorously promotes the integration of production and education, and school-enterprise cooperation, and has built 28 experimental training rooms covering 25 higher vocational majors. It has established a close cooperation type off-campus training base with more than 30 units including Xiamen Tefang Construction Group, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Xiamen Airport, Xiamen Metro, Xiamen Tobacco, Xiamen University Affiliated Xiang'an Hospital, Xiamen Lianhua Hospital, Xiamen Workers' Cultural Palace, Xiamen Xiaojinxing International Education Group, Xiamen Happy Flying UAV Technology Co., Ltd., Fujian Yingjian Group, and Australia Sibico Group. There are more than 30 off-campus training bases.
