Xichang National Preschool Teachers College is located in Xichang, the world-famous "Space City" and "Moon City" of China. The school was newly established by the Liangshan Prefecture Government in March 2018, approved by the Sichuan Provincial Government and filed with the Ministry of Education, under the background of the country's poverty alleviation and vigorous development of ethnic education and preschool education. It is a public full-time general college. The school has two campuses, Anning and Haihe, covering an area of 392.5 acres, with a school building area of 215,800 square meters and a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan. In March 2021, Liangshan National Normal School was abolished and merged into Xichang National Preschool Teachers College as a whole. The current party secretary of the school is Lu Liwu and the principal is Zhao Bo. Since the establishment of the school, the state, province and state have attached great importance to the development of Xichang National Preschool Teachers College. The school has complete teaching infrastructure. There is an affiliated kindergarten, the school library has a construction area of 7,744.34 square meters, a total of 638,000 books and 506 journals, 16 electronic databases, 1.22 million e-books that can be read through smart terminals, 7,000 Chinese and foreign journals, and 150,000 teaching videos. The quality of talent training in the school has been steadily improving. The school has jointly built 38 on-campus teaching practice bases and 207 off-campus internship and training bases with counterpart support universities such as Beijing Normal University and China Academy of Art.
