Yantai Institute of Science and Technology is a full-time general undergraduate college with engineering, management and art as its main disciplines and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It has the qualification to issue nationally recognized unified enrollment and junior college qualifications, and has the right to confer bachelor's degrees. The school was formerly the Jinan University Quancheng College, founded in 2005. It joined the China Education Group in 2019 and was renamed Yantai Institute of Science and Technology in 2021. The school is located in Penglai, Shandong, a historical and cultural city with the reputation of "fairyland on earth" and a national excellent tourist city.
