Yuchai Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and registered by the Ministry of Education of China. The college code is 14573. Yulin City is located in the southeast of Guangxi. It is the overlapping area and intersection of the three major economic cooperation zones of the Pan-Beibu Gulf Economic Cooperation Zone, the China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone, and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Cooperation Zone. It is a "4+2" city in the Beibu Gulf (Guangxi) Economic Zone, a cross-strait agricultural cooperation pilot zone (Guangxi Yulin), a processing base for the transfer of industries in the east, and an important land passage and springboard from the east to "ASEAN". It has outstanding geographical advantages. The college is located in Yuchai Industrial Park, Yulin City, covering an area of 230 acres; the new campus is designed and built according to high starting point and high standards. The campus is divided into four functional areas: teaching area, training area, living area, and sports area. More than 60,000 square meters of school buildings and various supporting facilities have been built, including training rooms, multimedia classrooms and other teaching and training facilities; the library has tens of thousands of books, and the campus Internet broadband optical cable is connected to classrooms and dormitories, which can meet students' various interests, hobbies and learning needs. The concept of setting up departments and majors highlights the internal needs of Yuchai Group and integrates the economic characteristics of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. It has four departments, including the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Automotive Engineering, and the Department of Economic Management, and two secondary colleges, including the International Education College and the Continuing Education College. It offers six majors, including CNC equipment application and maintenance, mechatronics technology, mechanical design and manufacturing, automobile inspection and maintenance technology, high-speed rail service and accounting. Yuchai Vocational and Technical College is the only higher vocational college in Yulin City.
