Yueyang Modern Service Vocational College is a full-time higher vocational college sponsored by Hunan Tianxin Education Technology Development Co., Ltd. The school plans to use 1,080 acres of land, with a planned investment of 1.5 billion yuan and two phases of construction. The first phase of the project has an investment of 1 billion yuan and 500 acres of land. All land acquisition and construction project permits have been obtained. At present, 20 campus buildings such as teaching buildings, internship factories, libraries, gymnasiums, student dormitories, and canteens have been built, with a total construction area of 253,800 square meters, a total value of teaching equipment of 18.68 million yuan, and a collection of 320,600 books. The school plans to set up four professional secondary colleges of intelligent engineering, information engineering, economic management, and health management, as well as two secondary colleges of general education and training services. There are 188 full-time teachers, including 12 professors and 60 associate professors; 6 doctors and 51 masters; 76 dual-qualified teachers. 34 part-time teachers from front-line production technicians of enterprises are hired. The school actively integrates into Hunan's "Three Highs and Four New" development strategy and Yueyang's provincial sub-center city construction, closely connects with Hunan Province's trillion-level equipment manufacturing industry and Yueyang City's seven trillion-level industries, and builds five major professional groups including intelligent manufacturing, information technology, health management, new media marketing, and smart finance. The first majors are intelligent manufacturing equipment technology, electronic information engineering technology, software technology, online marketing and live e-commerce, medical cosmetology technology, big data and accounting. It plans to enroll 3,000 students in 2023.
