Yunnan Energy Vocational and Technical College is the only public higher vocational college in Yunnan Province that mainly trains high-quality technical and skilled personnel for the energy industry. The school was founded in 1978 and upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2002. The organizer is the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education. The school is located in Qujing City, Yunnan Province. It currently has three campuses: Qilin, Zhanyi, and Baishijiang, covering an area of 835 acres, a building area of more than 400,000 square meters, and a total asset value of nearly 1.5 billion yuan. There are 8 secondary colleges and 51 majors. As of October 2022, the school has 15,136 full-time college students.
