Yunnan Medical and Health Vocational College is a full-time medical higher vocational college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education, with the qualification to independently issue academic diplomas. The school currently has two campuses in Kunming and Anning. The new campus in Fumin is under planning and construction. The teaching and scientific research equipment is worth more than 70 million yuan. There are 129 on-campus experimental training rooms, professional basic experimental (training) centers, oral medicine experimental (training) centers, human life science museums, molecular biology laboratories and other types of experimental training rooms. The school currently has three clinical medicine majors such as oral medicine, clinical medicine, and acupuncture and massage, as well as 20 majors such as nursing, pharmacy, rehabilitation therapy technology, and medical laboratory technology. The school actively introduces high-level talents such as professors, doctors, and chief physicians from major universities and hospitals to carry out teaching and scientific research, and promote the continuous improvement of teaching level through scientific research. Up to now, the school teachers have won a total of 128 scientific research fund projects, authorized patents, industry-university-research projects, etc. at all levels. The school has built a good platform for students to go to school. While obtaining high-quality teaching resources, many students can improve their academic qualifications through "junior college to undergraduate", "adult education undergraduate" and "study abroad". At present, it has established stable long-term cooperative relations with 233 units, including 111 internship hospitals, 112 practice bases, 5 industry-university-research cooperation units, 1 non-affiliated hospital, and 4 teaching hospitals. It has now formed the school-running characteristics of "school-hospital integration, medical and educational integration", providing reliable guarantees for students' training, internships and employment.
