Yunnan Vocational College of Science and Technology Information is the first full-time private general higher vocational college in Yunnan Province approved by the provincial government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It recruits students from all over the country and has the ability to independently issue national higher vocational diplomas. It was founded in 2001. At that time, the gross enrollment rate of higher education in Yunnan Province was far lower than the national average. In the past ten years, the college has explored and accumulated valuable experience in running schools, and has embarked on a unique path of private higher vocational education. The college's professional settings have developed from less than ten majors at the beginning of the establishment of the college to more than 40 majors now. The college has established more than 40 internship and training bases in accounting, construction, engineering supervision, gemstone testing, CNC processing, electronic information, IT industry, automobiles, etc. in and outside the province. It has multiple laboratories such as ERP supply chain, gemstone identification and processing, digital electronics and analog electronics, engineering measurement, and communication technology. The college has long cooperated with key undergraduate colleges such as Southwest University of Science and Technology, Chongqing Sunshine Student Aid Park, and many universities in the province. It has opened a number of professional undergraduate education programs, providing a convenient way for college students in our college to improve their undergraduate academic level, and also providing more and higher-level talents for the society.
