Yuxi Vocational and Technical College was established in March 2022 with the approval of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government. It is a full-time public general higher vocational school registered with the Ministry of Education. The college is located at No. 9 Kechuang Avenue, Hongta District, Yuxi City, covering an area of 314 acres, with an investment of 1.389 billion yuan. The existing school building area is more than 266,700 square meters, equipped with 42 on-campus training rooms, 250 teaching computers, 1000 megabit broadband, and 402,000 books and materials. The college has opened five three-year majors in the first batch, namely intelligent optoelectronic technology application, tourism management, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology, sports training, sports health and rehabilitation.
