Zhangjiajie College, formerly known as Zhangjiajie College of Jishou University (Independent College), was founded in 2002. In September 2023, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be converted into an independent general undergraduate college. The school is located in Zhangjiajie, an internationally renowned tourist city, covering an area of 1,867 acres. It has more than 15,000 full-time undergraduate students, 48 undergraduate majors, and more than 600 teachers. The school has advanced infrastructure and complete school conditions.
