Zhaoqing University is a public full-time general college with the right to confer master's degrees, sponsored by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and supervised by the Provincial Department of Education. It is located in Zhaoqing, a city in the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong Province (90 kilometers from Guangzhou). The school is located in the Xinghu Scenic Area of Zhaoqing, which echoes the mountains and waters of Xinghu Lake, showing its beautiful scenery and is a good place for studying and studying. The school was formerly the Zhaoqing Normal School founded in 1970, renamed Zhaoqing May 7th Normal College in 1975, and renamed Zhaoqing Normal College in 1977. In 1990, Zhaoqing Normal College abolished its independent system and school name and became the Normal Department of Xijiang University.
