Zhejiang Industrial Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public college in Zhejiang Province. The sponsor is Zhejiang Metallurgical Group (Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.), which was founded in 1979. The school currently has two campuses in Meishan and Jinghu, covering an area of 912 acres, with more than 15,000 full-time students; the Xinchang campus jointly built with the Xinchang County Government covers an area of 600 acres and is scheduled to be put into use in September 2026, with a student scale of 5,000. The Shaoxing Public Training Base is the first national training base jointly built by the government and the school in the country. It was jointly built by the school and the Shaoxing Municipal Government. The two parties invested a total of 220 million yuan in a 1:1 ratio. Tencent Cloud International Internet College was jointly built with Fiddy University, Tencent Cloud, and Huike Group in the United States; the Yangtze River Delta College of the China Institute of Labor Relations was jointly established with the China Institute of Labor Relations and the Shaoxing Federation of Trade Unions; the Shaoxing Veterans College and the Shaoxing Veterans Entrepreneurship Park were jointly built with the Shaoxing Veterans Bureau; the Shaoxing Intellectual Property College was established in cooperation with the Shaoxing Market Supervision Bureau; and the Shaoxing Cyber Security College was jointly built with the Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee Cyberspace Affairs Office and the Shaoxing Public Security Bureau. Cooperate with Hangzhou Iron and Steel Vocational Education Group to build the industry-education integration smart cloud platform project in the "quality improvement and excellence training" action plan of the Ministry of Education, which is a key project for the integrated development of education in the Yangtze River Delta; take the lead in establishing the "Shaoxing City 100 billion-level intelligent manufacturing industry industry-education consortium", which has been approved at the provincial level; take the lead in establishing the National Digital Education Industry-Education Integration Community, the Open Regional Industry-Education Integration Practice Center, and the High-end Equipment Manufacturing Technology Industry-Education Integration Practice Center.
