Zhengzhou Shuqing Medical College was founded in 1984 and implemented general higher education in 2002 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2020, the school was successfully selected as a "Henan Province High-level Higher Vocational School Construction Unit" and a "Henan Province Higher Vocational School High-level Professional Construction Unit". Since its establishment, the school has trained more than 80,000 medical and health talents for the society and made positive contributions to the grassroots health and health cause in Henan Province. There are 29 majors, including clinical medicine, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, nursing, and rehabilitation therapy technology. The school has been approved for 37 majors, including the major supported by the central government, the key major of the Ministry of Education's innovative development action plan, the brand major of Henan universities, the key major, and the urgent (special) major of Zhengzhou local universities, including 2 national-level majors. The school actively connects with the development of the big health industry, continuously deepens the reform of education and teaching, actively implements transformation and development, and builds a large-scale training base with multiple training centers such as rehabilitation treatment center, nursing and health care center, clinical diagnosis and treatment center, health care center, and dietary nutrition center. It has formed a health service talent training system with the provincial rehabilitation treatment technology professional group as the leader, the school-level nursing professional group, pharmacy professional group and traditional Chinese medicine professional group as the support, the elderly care and maternal and child care as the characteristics, and various professional directions as the auxiliary.
