Zigong Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is the first comprehensive higher vocational college in Zigong City. The college is located in Zigong City, which enjoys the reputation of "Millennium Salt Capital", "Hometown of Dinosaurs", "Southern Light City" and "Home of Food". It is close to the former residence of Jiang Jie, a hero in Hongyan, and is far away from the Zigong Dinosaur Museum. It has convenient transportation and elegant environment. The college has a planned land area of 750 mu, and has completed 416 mu of construction land, with an investment of 2.6 billion yuan and a construction area of 206,000 square meters. According to the national higher vocational college setting standards, it has teaching buildings, conference centers, training centers, libraries, student apartments, canteens, standardized sports fields, multi-functional gymnasiums and other educational and living facilities. There are 200,000 books and 140,000 electronic books in the library.
