Aswan University is a comprehensive public university in Aswan Governorate, Egypt, offering a wide range of undergraduate, master's and doctoral degree programs covering a wide range of disciplines including humanities, social sciences, science and engineering, medicine, agronomy, etc.
History and Establishment
In 1973, Asyut University Aswan Branch was established. In 1995, South Valley University was established, and Aswan Branch became affiliated to the university, and newly established the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Social Work, and the Faculty of Engineering. In 2012, Aswan University was officially established, formed by the merger of the Asyut Campus and the South Valley Campus.
