Introduction and Overview

South Valley University is located in Qena, New Valley Governorate, Egypt, 600 kilometers away from Cairo, the capital of Egypt. It is a public comprehensive university certified by the Ministry of Education of China, and has trained a large number of outstanding talents for Egypt and other countries.

History and Establishment

The school was originally a college of Asyut University. On January 2, 1995, according to the presidential decree, South Valley University officially became independent.

School Strength

Faculty: It has 1,876 faculty members, some of whom have been trained in some of the world's better institutions, providing strong support for teaching and scientific research.

Academic Achievements: It actively carries out research in the fields of solar energy education and medical engineering, with fruitful results, and has made important contributions to the development of Upper Egypt.
