Suez Canal University is an important public comprehensive university in Egypt. It is located in Ismailia, a city with beautiful scenery and pleasant climate, 110 kilometers away from the capital Cairo. It covers an area of 40 hectares and is only 1 kilometer away from the Suez Canal. The school focuses on undergraduate education and actively develops graduate education. It has the right to award bachelor's and master's degrees and is currently well-known in Egypt.
History and establishment time
The school was founded in 1976. Its predecessor was Suez Canal University of Science and Technology. In 1977, it began to enroll students in six colleges. It continued to expand in the 1980s and 1990s, and new colleges were established almost every year.
