Introduction to Africa Nazarene University:
Introduction: Africa Nazarene University is a private university in Kenya that offers multi-level educational programs from undergraduate to graduate, covering multiple disciplines, and is committed to cultivating comprehensive talents with professional skills and Christian values.
History and establishment time:
In July 1993, the church board voted unanimously at the conference held in Indianapolis, USA, to authorize the establishment of a university in Africa. On November 23 of the same year, the relevant committee of the Kenyan government granted a temporary authorization to establish the university.
In August 1994, the school officially opened and welcomed 62 students from 11 African countries. It opened undergraduate courses in theology and business administration and a master of arts in religious studies.
On October 8, 2002, the Kenyan government granted the university a charter, making it the first private university to be accredited without establishing an affiliation with other universities at home and abroad.

Student Size: From the initial 62 students to more than 4,000 students today.
Academic Achievements: Teachers have won honors such as the UNESCO-TWAS 2023 Seed Fund. The school organizes innovation and enterprise-related activities, focusing on the combination of academic research and practice.
Alumni Achievements: It has cultivated outstanding alumni such as Kendi N Twiga, head of Microsoft Kenya, and Shikoh Gitau, CEO of Qhala.
