Basic Introduction

Geographical location: The main campus is located in Kesese, Eldoret Town, Usi Ngishu County, Kenya.
Historical evolution: In 1984, it was established according to the Moi University Act of the Kenyan Parliament. Initially, it only had a forestry department with 83 students. In 1996, the school established a medical school, becoming the second university in the country to establish a medical school.

Faculty: It has academic staff from many majors, including 59 professors.
Course Setting: It offers degree courses at different levels, including pre-bachelor, bachelor, master and doctoral degrees, covering agriculture, aerospace, art, biology, business, education, engineering, health sciences and other fields.
