Wroclaw University of Science & Technology is a leading public research university of technology in Wroclaw, Poland. Its buildings and infrastructure are scattered throughout the city, with the main facilities concentrated in a central location near Grunwaldzki Square and along the Oder River. It has three regional branches in Jelenia Góra, Legnica and Wałbrzych.

History and founding time
The university was founded on August 24, 1945. Its predecessor was Wroclaw Institute of Technology, founded in 1910, and academic staff from Lviv University and Lviv University of Technology, who established the university on the basis of the damaged buildings of the former German Technical School.
