Key laboratories: It has the National Laboratory for Atomic and Molecular Photophysics (Famo), the Center for Quantum Optics, the Interdisciplinary Center for Modern Technologies, etc. The Astronomy Center also has a unique 32-meter radio telescope, and there is a polar station on the island of Spitsbergen.
Key disciplines: It has excellent performance in the fields of optics, clinical medicine, chemistry and other disciplines, among which the optics major ranks 156th in the world.
