Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy is a public medical university located in Iași, Romania. It is named after the scientist Grigore T. Popa and provides high-quality education and research in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and biomedical engineering.

The school was established on September 30, 1879 as the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Iași. In 1948, the Faculty of Medicine merged with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Dentistry to form the Faculty of Medicine. In 1991, in memory of the world-renowned neuroendocrinologist Grigore Theodore Popa, it was renamed Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
