Introduction: Stellenbosch University is a public research university in South Africa, located in the town of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It is one of the oldest universities in South Africa and a member of the 21st Century Academic Alliance, the World University Climate Change Alliance, and the Global University Institute Alliance.

History and establishment time: Its history can be traced back to the Stellenbosch Stadium established in 1864, officially opened in 1866, and had its first batch of graduates in 1873. In 1881, it became Stellenbosch College, renamed Victoria College in 1887, and obtained university status in 1918 and officially changed its name to Stellenbosch University.
