Introduction to Far Eastern State Transport University
Far Eastern State Transport University is the only university with rail transit characteristics in the Russian Far East. It is also a key university in Russia and a university directly under the Ministry of Transport. It ranks among the top in the science and engineering rankings.

History and establishment time
Founded on September 28, 1937, it was formerly the Khabarovsk Railway Engineering Institute. In 1993, it was renamed the Far Eastern State Transport Institute and in 1997 it was renamed the Far Eastern State Transport University.

Teaching achievements: It has more than 60 undergraduate majors, 43 master's programs, and 23 doctoral programs. It has trained tens of thousands of talents. Its innovative education projects stand out in the Russian University Innovative Education Project Competition.
Scientific research strength: December 2022 - In November 2023, the research output ranked 6643rd in the world and 97th in Russia. In the field of chemistry, it ranked 2398th in the world and 50th in China.
International cooperation: Establish cooperative relations with about 300 large enterprises and companies, and also establish extensive cooperative relations with universities and colleges in China, the United States, Japan and other countries.
