Adygea State University is the center of science, education and culture in the Republic of Adygea, providing multi-level education covering many professional fields.

History and establishment time
Founded in 1940, it was originally the May State Teachers College. In 1952, it was reorganized into the May State Education College. In 1956, it became a national model university and changed its name. In 1993, it was changed to its current name.
