Introduction to Siberian State Industrial University
Siberian State Industrial University is the oldest university in Novokuznetsk, Russia. It is also a famous university in Siberia and a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

History and establishment time
Founded on June 23, 1930, it was originally the Siberian Metallurgical Institute to train professional talents for the construction of the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Plant. In 1994, it was renamed the Siberian State Mining and Metallurgical Institute. In 1998, it became a technical university and was given its current name.
