History and establishment time

The school was established in 1967. Its predecessor was the Far Eastern Institute of Technology. In 1995, it was renamed the Far Eastern State Institute of Technology and became the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service in 1996.

The dormitory is surrounded by complete security facilities. There is also the first statue of Joseph Mandelstam in Russia on campus.
