History and establishment time
In 1948, the Education and Consulting Center of the Kyiv Civil Aviation Engineers College was opened in Moscow, and was later transformed into the Moscow Communications Department of the Kyiv Civil Aviation College. In the early 1970s, due to the development needs of Moscow's aviation hub, the Ministry of Civil Aviation decided to establish the Moscow Civil Aviation Engineers College, which was renamed Moscow State University of Civil Aviation Technology in July 1993.
