Introduction to Ivanovo State University
Located in Ivanovo, Russia, Ivanovo State University is one of the oldest universities in Europe and one of the 44 state universities in the Russian Federation. It has made remarkable achievements in education and scientific research and has cultivated many outstanding talents.

History and establishment time
The school was founded on December 21, 1918. It was originally named Ivanovo-Voznesensk National Educational Institute. On July 12, 1923, it became a teacher training college. In August 1932, a teacher training college named after D.A. Furmanov was established on this basis. In 1974, it got its current name.
