Perm State Pedagogical University Introduction
Perm State Pedagogical University is an important base for training teachers and other senior professionals in secondary and higher education institutions, which is built by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. It is also an education, culture and technology center in the Ural region.
Overview
The school has more than 7,000 students and more than 500 faculty and staff. It has 15 colleges, 138 undergraduate majors and 87 graduate majors, covering education, humanities, social sciences, art and other fields.
History and establishment time
On September 9, 1921, the Soviet Higher Education Committee decided to establish Perm Pedagogical College, and on October 2, the School of Physics and the School of Mathematics were established. The main building was completed in September 1932. In May 1970, it was designated as a federal budget higher education institution. In 1994, it was renamed Perm State Normal University, and in May 2012, it was officially renamed Perm State Humanities Normal University.
School Strength
Teaching Staff: 102 professors, 350 associate professors, more than 70% of teachers have doctoral degrees, and there are also members of the Russian Federation Academy of Educational Sciences.
Teaching Achievements: Cultivated a large number of professional talents in education and other fields for Russia, and its graduates play an important role in the education system.
Research achievements: 10 national key courses, 7 national experimental teaching demonstration centers, etc.
