Introduction

The Far Eastern State Medical University is located in Khabarovsk, Russia. It is the first medical university in the Russian Far East and one of the largest medical universities in the region. It was founded in 1930.

The university has more than 500 faculty and staff members and about 3,500 students, including about 120 international students. It has 6 faculties, 6 specialist majors, 2 undergraduate majors, 66 residency majors, 45 doctoral majors and 12 academic schools.

History

Established in 1930, its medical department has been training "general medicine" experts since 1930 and welcomed its first graduates in 1935. The pediatric department was established in 1958. The school has won the sixth championship of the Russian "Health University" competition and other honors.

Faculty: It has 475 outstanding lecturers, including 2 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, 9 honorary doctors, 64 doctors of medicine and 259 tutors with degrees.
