Introduction
The Superior Institute of Maia, or Maia University, was founded in 1991. It is a well-known private higher education institution in Portugal. It is located in the town of Maia in Porto. Its predecessor was the Maia University College. The courses and programs it offers can obtain officially recognized higher education degrees.
