Introduction

VERN' University is a well-known private university in Croatia, known for its high-quality education in the fields of economics, management and media studies, and is committed to cultivating professionals with entrepreneurial thinking and social responsibility.

History

VERN' University's history can be traced back to 1990, when it was the first private business school in Croatia, and the first one-year course officially started in 1994. In 2000, with the support of the former Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Croatia, VERN University of Applied Sciences was established and became the first University of Applied Sciences in Croatia in 2007. In 2009 and 2011, the University of Vern merged with the Zagreb School of Management and the School of Journalism, making it a comprehensive and innovative European university. In 2012, VERN University successfully cooperated with Vis Island to open the VERN University School of Vis Island.

Established in 1990, and officially became VERN University of Applied Sciences in 2000.
