Introduction: The Technological Institute of Nuevo Laredo is a higher education institution located in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Founded: 1964.
History: In 1966, the Electronic Technology major was established, in 1968, the Industrial Technology major was established, and in September 1969, at the request of the technical community, the Industrial Electronic Engineering degree was approved. On June 6, 1973, the construction of new technical facilities was approved, and on October 18 of the same year, the foundation stone of the Institute of Technology was laid on 17 hectares of land at the old airport in Nuevo Laredo. In June 1974, the first batch of 7 industrial engineers graduated, and on September 16 of the same year, the institute moved to the new campus.
Nature of the institution: A non-profit public higher education institution, officially recognized by the Mexican Secretariat of Public Education.
