Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Industry and Commerce is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Hebei Provincial Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the college was the Hebei Correspondence College founded by the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League in October 1983. It was renamed Hebei Youth Continuing Education College in June 1995 and rebuilt into Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Industry and Commerce in May 2003. Since its establishment, the college has trained more than 100,000 professional talents of various types for the country. The college is located on the banks of the Minxin River in the southwest higher education zone of Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital. The college covers an area of 490,000 square meters, with a construction area of 173,500 square meters and more than 12,000 students.
