Historical Background

June 1952: Korea Aerospace University was established as the first national aviation education university in South Korea.

1979: The corporate group Jeongseok Inha Academy was established and turned into a university under the Hanjin Group. Korean Air is also affiliated to the Hanjin Group, so Hangda has a close relationship with Korean Air.

2022: The University of Aviation celebrates its 70th anniversary, and Korean Air presents the university with a real Airbus A300 aircraft.
