Spring Arbor University is a private university located in Spring Arbor, Michigan, USA, with the following characteristics: History: The origin can be traced back to 1873, when it was founded by Edward Payson Hart, a leader of the Free Methodist Church, and others. It was originally a private elementary and middle school college. In 1923, the school board voted to add a junior college. In 1929, the school was renamed Spring Arbor Theological Seminary and Junior College. In 1930, elementary and middle school courses were discontinued.
