Wake Technical Community College is a large public community college located in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. It is the largest community college in North Carolina. The school offers more than 250 associate degree, diploma and certificate programs, as well as short-term non-degree programs.

History and Founding Time

The school was established on April 3, 1958 as the Wake County Industrial Education Center. The first campus opened on October 7, 1963, with 304 students enrolled at the time. It was renamed Wake Technical Community College on December 1, 1987.
