Eastern Oklahoma State College is a public community college located in Oklahoma, USA. The following is a detailed introduction to the school:

History:

The school was founded in 1908 and was originally named Oklahoma School of Mines and Metallurgy. At that time, it focused on mining engineering and welcomed its first batch of graduates in 1912.

During World War I, it was forced to close due to insufficient enrollment and reopened after the war. In 1924, the school expanded its majors. In 1927, due to the decline in profits in the mining industry, the school was renamed Eastern Oklahoma State College and became a comprehensive community college. Since then, the school has undergone many changes in name and management institutions. In 1972, it was finally determined to be the current name and has its own management committee.

The main campus of the school is located in Wilburton, and there are also branches in McAlester and teaching sites in Antlers (Kiamichi Technology Center) and Idabel.
