History: Founded in 1966. In the 1960s, local research was conducted and found that there was a lack of educational opportunities after high school graduation. Therefore, Linn County and Benton County cooperated and the college was established after a referendum. Classes began in 1967.
Campus size: The main campus is located on US Highway 99E in Albany, Oregon, covering an area of 104 acres, with 13 Brutalist-style brick buildings and 7 modern buildings. In addition, there are branches in Corvallis, Lebanon and Sweethouse.
