School History
The school was founded in 1937 and was originally named Pacific Bible College. It was renamed Warner Pacific College in 1959 and changed to its current name in 2018. It was founded by the Church of God to provide students with an education based on a Christian worldview.
Academic Education
Major Settings: Traditional undergraduate courses offer 25 majors, 7 pre-professional fields and 29 minors; adult degree programs include an associate degree in organizational dynamics, as well as bachelor's degrees such as accounting and business administration, and master's degrees such as management and organizational leadership.
Teaching Features: The school adopts a semester-based academic calendar, with a student-teacher ratio of 14:1, focusing on small class teaching, and students can receive more attention and guidance. The school's Christian faith is closely integrated with academic education, guiding students to explore knowledge and career development in faith.
Campus Life
Student Activities: There are more than 14 student activities on campus, including academic, cultural, artistic, sports and other clubs and organizations, enriching students' extracurricular life.
Campus Environment: Located on the south side of Mount Tabor in southeast Portland, it covers an area of 15 acres. The campus has a beautiful environment. The campus buildings include McGuire Auditorium and Otto F. Lynn Library.
Sports: The school's sports team is called the Cavaliers. It is a member of the National Intercollegiate Athletic Association and mainly participates in the Cascade University Athletic League. There are 7 intercollegiate sports programs including men's basketball, football, wrestling, women's basketball, football, softball, and volleyball.
