School History
The school was founded in 2001, officially opened in 2005, and was first certified by an authoritative organization in 2009 and began to award degrees.
Later, it was questioned by the Middle States Schools and Colleges Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) for failing to provide sufficient teaching resources and proposed rectification suggestions.
In March 2016, the Middle States Schools and Colleges Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) determined that Harrisburg University of Science and Technology had met all the rectification suggestions of the committee and re-issued the certification.
