History: Founded in 1984 as Dental Careers Institute, then Advanced Careers Institute, and finally Provo College in December 1989. In April 1992, the school was acquired by the Center for Professional Studies and moved to its current location. Between 1996 and 1997, the college expanded its curriculum and added an Associate of Applied Science degree to all programs. In 2005, Provo College received approval to change its degree from an Associate of Applied Science to an Associate of Science, and in 2013, it added a bachelor's degree program.

Professionals: The school focuses primarily on health-related majors, offering a variety of programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program, which allows students to earn their degree in as little as 36 months; a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree program, which takes as little as 21 months; and a Practical Nursing diploma program, which allows students to graduate in as little as 12 months.
