History:
Its history dates back to the founding of Richmond Memorial Hospital in 1957. In 1961, the Richmond Memorial Hospital School of Nursing opened to train nurses for the hospital.
In 1993, Richmond Memorial Hospital worked with Bon Secours to plan a new replacement hospital. In 1998, the new Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center opened and the school was renamed Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing.
In 2010, the school launched a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and officially changed its name to Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing.
